Cloud Software Developer – Node.js, React.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain cloud-native applications utilizing Node.js, React.js, and associated frameworks.

• Execute infrastructure-as-code employing Terraform or AWS CDK.

• Create and deploy pipelines while assisting with platform operations.

• Conduct troubleshooting on Linux systems and perform root-cause analysis.

• Apply secure-by-design methodologies and engage in compliance and hardening initiatives.

• Collaborate on workloads that are deployed and managed using AWS services, including Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, VPC, and IAM.

• Work alongside UI/UX designers, cloud engineers, architects, and DevOps teams.

• Provide on-call support and/or adhere to a flexible work schedule based on operational needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical training certificate or degree is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with AWS cloud computing is required.

• Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript is essential.

• Experience in building and maintaining React.js front-end applications is necessary.

• Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals, including navigation, logs, permissions, and troubleshooting methods.

• Practical experience in designing and implementing solutions on AWS, covering core services and networking.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform or AWS CDK, including modules, variables, and state management.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Jenkins.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven patterns is important.

• Experience in creating and deploying pipelines and managing platform operations.

• Must secure and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• Required to provide onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility.

• Must be a US Person: Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, or US Citizen.

• Must be available for on-call support and/or follow a flexible work schedule as required.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering, or relevant experience is preferred.

• A total of 7 years of IT experience is preferred.
