This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +30 more states.
• Collaborate with fellow Nava engineers to design, review, and create high-quality software.
• Work alongside government partners and other contractors to architect, implement, and enhance new systems and existing ones.
• Employ an agile approach to efficiently deliver new features that cater to user requirements.
• Author and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and test outcomes.
• Monitor, analyze test results, and report defects and performance issues to development teams.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices in all testing processes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Engage in hiring activities (e.g., providing referrals, conducting interviews, and attending debriefs) as required.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in testing.
• At least 5 years of experience in coding with Javascript.
• Capability to develop testing strategies, define testing processes, implement best practices, and promote test automation.
• Proficiency in defining and executing test plans and test cases for complex enterprise applications.
• Strong abilities in tracking, reporting, and prioritizing defects using tools such as Jira and Github project.
• Experience with a variety of automation tools, including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, or other automation frameworks.
• Understanding of performance testing tools and experience in leading regression, UAT, and E2E testing.
• Familiarity with security testing and data protection best practices.
• Highly resourceful, dependable, and detail-oriented individual.
• Ability to strategically consider trade-offs and short-term versus long-term benefits.
• An adaptable, empathetic, collaborative, and positive mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
