Software Engineer – Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Gaining an in-depth understanding of customers' integration and utilization of Bitmovin products within their video workflows to aid in identifying and resolving issues.

• Serving as the representative of Bitmovin to clients, including leading Video Streaming content providers, while advocating for their needs within the company.

• Building a trusted advisor relationship with clients by offering tailored solutions to address reported issues, delivering recommendations and training, and taking technical ownership of key growth and strategic accounts in collaboration with Customer Success Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possessing experience in software development for Web Applications using JavaScript OR Java.

• Having foundational knowledge of Swift, Kotlin, and Python.

• Triaging and troubleshooting reported support cases to identify root causes and discover potential solutions or workarounds.

• Experience in support or other service-oriented customer-facing roles.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for engaging with people.

• Expertise in software development and troubleshooting complex technical issues, as well as researching and proposing solutions, including possible workarounds.

• Proficiency in using Support/CRM tools such as Zendesk, Jira Service Desk, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of video compression and/or playback technologies.

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
