Software Engineer – Shop Pod

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +6 more locations.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with product owners and fellow engineers to enhance, optimize, and sustain the shop's technology stack.

• Release updates, optimize the technology infrastructure, and develop scalable features for the shop.

• Transform wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces into a vibrant shop experience.

• Expand the current shop technology to accommodate new offer mechanics, monetization features, and seasonal content releases.

• Create back-end systems, server-authoritative logic, and database functionalities.

• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve emergent live issues impacting the shop.

• Assist in delivering seasonal content, new shop offers, and live-ops updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and delivering mobile applications using Unity.

• Direct involvement in creating persistent data schemas, managing data migration, and overseeing schema versioning.

• Demonstrated capability in crafting server-authoritative features alongside client prediction.

• Practical experience in implementing backend logic and deploying services on AWS.

• Strong expertise in Git, .NET, and C#.

• Background in the mobile game development lifecycle and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with web technologies such as React / Next.js (preferred).

• Knowledge of Vue.js (preferred).

• Experience with incorporating AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code, into software workflows (preferred).

• Willingness to work during PST hours.

• Comfortable with a fully remote contract arrangement.
