Software Engineer – Shop Pod

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +6 more locations.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with shop product owners and engineers to deliver updates, enhance technology infrastructure, and develop scalable shop features.

• Transform wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces into functional elements within the shop experience.

• Expand current shop technology to accommodate new offer mechanics, monetization features, and seasonal content.

• Create backend systems, server-authoritative logic, and database functionalities that support frontend shop features.

• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve live issues impacting the shop to maintain uptime and ensure smooth player transactions.

• Assist in launching seasonal content, new shop offers, and live-ops updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record in developing and delivering mobile applications using Unity.

• Direct experience in creating persistent data schemas, managing data migration, and overseeing schema versioning.

• Demonstrated capability in designing server-authoritative features alongside client prediction.

• Practical experience in implementing backend logic and deploying services on AWS.

• Strong proficiency with Git, .NET, and C#.

• Familiarity with the mobile game development lifecycle and performance optimization.

• Experience with web technologies like React / Next.js (preferred).

• Knowledge of Vue.js (preferred).

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code, within software workflows (preferred).

• Willingness to work during PST hours.

• Comfortable with a fully remote contract arrangement.
