Software Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop features from start to finish, dedicating approximately 70% of your time to backend tasks and 20–30% to frontend activities.

• Create new products and functionalities, including capabilities for incrementality and experimentation platforms.

• Design near-real-time data ingestion and processing systems.

• Develop AI-driven workflows that assist marketers in assessing performance and leveraging insights.

• Enhance connection-state systems and expand the partner ecosystem for data ingestion and exports.

• Engage in product areas like role-based access control (RBAC).

• Contribute to frontend efforts to ensure comprehensive product experiences.

• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, designers, and senior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in building backend services, APIs, and/or data processing systems using Python.

• Familiarity with distributed systems or microservices.

• Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and data scientists, managing implementation from start to production.

• Adaptability in a dynamic or early-stage environment where priorities may change.

• Proven ability to convert defined product requirements into functional, production-ready code.

• Capability to explore unfamiliar datasets and interconnected tables, trace dependencies, and resolve issues.

• Practical frontend experience with React and TypeScript.

• Strong coding principles and problem-solving abilities.

• Generalist approach and eagerness to work across backend, frontend, pipelines, and infrastructure.

• Experience in data-heavy backend engineering and delivering frontend work is highly desirable.
