Software Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Play a key role in the evolution of the incrementality product as it develops into a dependable experimentation platform.

• Create near-real-time data ingestion and processing capabilities that go beyond traditional batch workflows.

• Develop AI-driven workflows to assist marketers in assessing performance and leveraging insights.

• Enhance connection-state systems and broaden the partner ecosystem for data ingestion and exports.

• Engage in product domains such as role-based access control (RBAC).

• Contribute to frontend initiatives to ensure a seamless product experience.

• Implement backend services and frontend components for comprehensive end-to-end features.

• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, designers, and senior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in developing backend services, APIs, and/or data processing systems using Python.

• Familiarity with distributed systems or microservices.

• Proven track record of collaborating with product managers, designers, and data scientists while overseeing implementation through to production.

• Adaptability in a dynamic or early-stage environment where priorities may change.

• Experience in transforming defined product requirements into functional, production-ready code.

• Capacity to explore unfamiliar datasets and interconnected tables, trace dependencies, and resolve issues.

• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies, specifically React and TypeScript.

• Strong coding skills and problem-solving abilities.

• A generalist approach and readiness to work across backend, frontend, pipelines, and infrastructure.

• Experience in data-heavy backend engineering along with completed frontend work is a plus.
