Software Engineer, Platform & Cloud Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create and implement self-service workflows that enable internal teams to effortlessly access platform resources.

• Build automation solutions for infrastructure and onboarding using tools such as Cortex.io.

• Contribute to platform tools that facilitate AI-related applications and services.

• Collaborate with Azure infrastructure (AKS, Azure Container Apps, networking, databases, etc.) to ensure scalability and reliability.

• Automate deployments and infrastructure management using Terraform and GitHub Actions.

• Connect platform workflows with external tools and services (e.g., Snowflake, Astronomer, Kong).

• Enhance observability across the platform using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and OpenTelemetry.

• Assist with CI/CD integrations and maintain overall platform reliability.

• Diagnose issues and provide hands-on support as needed.

• Work closely with other engineers and mentor team members when appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or similar positions.

• Extensive experience working with cloud environments, with a preference for Azure.

• Practical experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and automation workflows.

• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container-based architectures.

• Experience with complex, distributed systems.

• Proficient in coding and working at the infrastructure/platform level.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development practices.

• Capable of working independently while remaining aligned with the team.

• Experience in developing internal tools, developer platforms, or self-service solutions is highly desirable.

• Preferred: Exposure to AI/ML platforms or workflows.

• Experience with Cortex.io or similar developer portals.

• Knowledge of tools such as Snowflake, Airflow, or Astronomer.

• Experience with API gateways (Kong).

• Multi-cloud experience (GCP/AWS).
