Software Engineer, .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold secure enterprise applications and APIs utilizing C#/.NET.

• Engage throughout the entire software lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture to deployment and operations.

• Model data and create queries, stored procedures, and migrations within Microsoft SQL Server.

• Construct and utilize RESTful services while integrating enterprise systems and third-party APIs.

• Develop unit and integration tests and facilitate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.

• Contribute to build and release processes while supporting containerized deployments.

• Implement OWASP Top 10 secure coding practices and address security vulnerabilities.

• Modernize and refactor legacy .NET Framework applications towards contemporary .NET and cloud-ready architectures.

• Diagnose production issues, conduct root-cause analyses, and provide solutions.

• Engage in design reviews, code assessments, sprint ceremonies, and technical documentation in Agile and DevSecOps settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of Secret security clearance or higher; active DoW Secret security clearance is mandatory.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, along with 8–10 years of software development experience; additional relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Over 4 years of practical experience in C#/.NET development, encompassing ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework.

• Proficient SQL Server skills, including T-SQL and database design expertise.

• Experience in constructing and securing RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Working knowledge of Angular, React, or Blazor, as well as HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
