This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Define the architecture for airborne, ground, and cloud systems that facilitate aircraft communications, fleet operations, and data management.
β’ Develop, debug, and deploy software across the entire stack, from embedded systems and Linux platform software to the application layer.
β’ Lead the integration of intricate third-party hardware and software systems into the Reliable Robotics autonomy platform.
β’ Ensure the high performance and reliability of software systems that are utilized daily in both R&D and production settings.
β’ Create highly dependable communication systems that connect aircraft hardware, mission infrastructure, and command centers.
β’ B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
β’ Over 2 years of experience in systems-level programming using Rust and/or C++.
β’ Proven experience in environments where software is actively deployed and utilized in production on a daily basis.
β’ Hands-on industry experience with deploying software on Linux in production, including tasks related to networking, containerization, and performance management.
β’ Expertise in deploying and managing infrastructure on AWS and developing systems that interact with AWS services.
β’ Proficient in UDP/IP, NAT, sockets, and routing.
β’ Experience working on software that controls hardware systems.
β’ Familiarity with distributed systems and messaging protocols.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
β’ Must provide documentation to verify U.S. person or non-U.S. person status for compliance with U.S. export control regulations.
β’ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
