Software Engineer – Microsoft Power Platform Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create solutions in areas including Security, Systems, Databases, and Networking Solutions.

• Design, develop, integrate, deliver, and enhance highly scalable distributed software.

• Integrate software with various layers and offerings.

• Provide functionalities and solutions that meet customer requirements.

• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams throughout the agile software development lifecycle.

• Refine features and user stories to estimate work and identify technical risks and dependencies.

• Communicate risks and dependencies to project stakeholders.

• Lead efforts to eliminate technical debt and vulnerabilities.

• Ensure that third-party components within the product remain up to date.

• Coach and mentor engineers in designing and implementing highly available, secure, distributed software.

• Troubleshoot and resolve clients’ business and technical challenges.

• Enhance service effectiveness, efficiency, and delivery through technology and technical methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on development experience coupled with technical leadership.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform.

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with AI and agent-based workflow design.

• Capability to design, develop, and deploy solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform.

• Knowledge of Dataverse tables, plugins, and the security model.

• Experience with Power Apps model-driven applications.

• Proficient in Power Automate for cloud-based workflows and integrations.

• Experience with Azure Functions.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and API Management.

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture.

• Experience with enterprise system integrations.

• Strong skills in C# (.NET) for plugin and backend development.

• Proficient in JavaScript for client-side customization.

• Skills in SQL and data modeling.

• Ability to write high-quality, efficient code.

• Capability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.

• Ability to build scalable, secure, and reliable automation solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Certification in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) is preferred.

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and modern software engineering practices is preferred.

• Experience in leading architectural decisions in data and application architecture is preferred.

• Ability to mentor and guide junior developers is preferred.
