This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and develop code ranging from basic to highly advanced levels to support both new and existing technology systems in accordance with company standards.
• Responsible for the creation and delivery of technical documentation.
• Participate in peer code and design reviews to guarantee the production of stable, high-quality code ready for deployment.
• Develop and maintain applications that comply with industry regulatory standards.
• Cultivate and sustain strong collaboration with team members, technical colleagues, and business partners across the organization.
• Adhere to established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) frameworks, encompassing requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, release management, and deployment.
• Ensure compliance with all company audit and security protocols.
• Utilize discretion and sound judgment in decision-making processes.
• Evaluate code for maintainability, adherence to coding standards, and security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate effectively with architects to create and assess intended solutions.
• Lead a team in fulfilling project commitments, including goals, objectives, and delivery timelines.
• Author and lead the development of technical specifications and detailed designs.
• Actively engage in engineering leadership across multiple complex projects.
• Drive the organization’s technical strategy and innovation initiatives.
• Provide engineering guidance and mentorship to all levels of engineering personnel.
• Oversee large-scale software projects from inception to completion, contributing to technical strategy and innovation.
• Conceptualize, plan, design, and build software solutions for complex challenges.
• Participate in and adhere to established agile methodologies to foster a cooperative and efficient development atmosphere while achieving project goals and deadlines.
• Encourage innovation to address existing challenges and seize new opportunities.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related technology field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of ten years of professional experience in software development is required (C# is preferred).
• At least three years of experience serving as a subject matter expert.
• Expert-level knowledge of computer engineering principles, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficient in modifying existing code and crafting highly advanced scripts in accordance with established standards and best practices.
• Advanced experience in cloud coding environments, with a strong preference for Azure.
• Highly skilled full-stack engineer with expertise in two or more modern programming languages.
• Comprehensive understanding of database systems, including the ability to create basic to highly advanced SQL statements.
• Expert-level technical proficiency and knowledge in API, front-end, back-end, and data development and architecture.
