This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Provides strategic, technical, and architectural guidance to software development projects and team members.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision in the design and development of new software products or significant enhancements to existing software.
• Operates at the highest level of technical expertise, addressing challenges related to systems integration and compatibility.
• Conducts feasibility assessments and frequently leads initiatives on development projects alongside other engineering personnel.
• Collaborates with Enterprise Architects and Project Management to convert design specifications into production platforms.
• Designs, modifies, develops, and implements IT software architecture solutions.
• Effectively plans and manages assignments across multiple complex projects.
• Acts as a technical resource for IT Managers and functional teams within the IT organization.
• Promotes technical and procedural changes in line with best practices in software development.
• Advocates for and integrates AI-assisted development methodologies, including Agentic development, to boost efficiency and improve product quality.
• Assembles teams as needed to tackle challenges, taking ownership and mentoring developers in problem-solving.
• Engages in the preparation, review, and analysis of software requirements and specifications.
• Designs, plans, and coordinates work teams on both new and existing software projects.
• Provides guidance and expertise on sustaining or maintaining support for existing software.
• Communicates complex technical issues effectively, with the ability to convey information clearly to senior management.
• Defines and implements testing strategies for software products.
• Ensures adherence to internal policies, procedures, and controls in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002 Section 404.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, with over 10 years of experience in this domain, or a Master's degree in Computer Science with over 6 years of experience.
• Proven experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle is essential.
• Strong familiarity with DevOps functions, including a solid understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Required knowledge of navigation and management within the Azure Portal.
• Demonstrated capability to lead large projects or address highly complex programming challenges.
• Ability to effectively communicate business issues and requirements at a management level.
• Proven track record of leading and building teams to resolve business challenges.
