Software Engineer Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of a defined software project, guiding it from design to production with the support of mentors.

• Deliver real features that are utilized by millions of users globally.

• Collaborate with coding agents, reviewing, testing, and validating their outputs.

• Develop a skill, tool, or agent workflow that the team will continue to utilize after the internship concludes.

• Create evaluations and tests to assess the quality of AI-driven work.

• Coordinate and build with AI agents from the very first day.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in writing clean code and a good understanding of design patterns.

• Knowledge of data structures, APIs, and testing methodologies.

• Experience in building projects outside of academic settings, including side projects, hackathons, open source contributions, or freelance work.

• Practical application of AI, such as developing an app using an LLM API, creating a custom agent or MCP server, automating a task from start to finish, or designing an evaluation to compare prompts or models.

• A curious and critical mindset when assessing AI outputs.

• A strong willingness and eagerness to learn swiftly and ask insightful questions.
