Software Engineer Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and maintenance of both backend and frontend services.

• Write clean, scalable code and engage in code review processes.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new features and troubleshoot bugs.

• Focus on performance tuning, debugging, and scaling of Sezzle's platform.

• Document software functionalities and contribute to the knowledge base.

• Acquire hands-on experience in building and maintaining features for Sezzle's fintech payment platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Golang, Python, or any other backend programming language.

• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and React or a comparable framework.

• Basic understanding of databases and SQL is required.

• Proven experience working with Claude or similar large language model tools is essential.

• Comfortable utilizing AI to boost productivity, research, and communication.

• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
