Software Engineer – Integrations Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that facilitate integrations with both external partners and internal systems.

• Create and implement scalable and reliable integration patterns for third-party APIs and data exchanges.

• Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and accuracy of data flowing between systems.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems, integrations, and data pipelines.

• Collaborate with product, operations, and engineering teams to convert integration requirements into technical solutions.

• Engage in system design discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing within the team.

• Contribute to enhancing the developer experience through improved tooling, documentation, and integration workflows.

• Assist in monitoring, logging, and alerting to proactively identify and resolve issues.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Proficient in Python, Node.js, or similar backend technologies.

• Experience in building APIs, managing external integrations, or developing data pipelines.

• Strong understanding of databases (both relational and NoSQL), data modeling, and service architecture.

• Demonstrated ability to manage features from start to finish, including backend logic, API integrations, and data flow.

• Experience in building and maintaining production-grade systems with an emphasis on reliability and scalability.

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities, especially in distributed or integration-heavy environments.

• High standards for code quality, maintainability, and documentation.

• Thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments with greenfield projects.

• Experience with B2B SaaS or internal tools is advantageous.

• Background in healthcare or regulated environments is a plus, but not mandatory.
