This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
β’ Design and execute cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing AWS and Terraform, with an emphasis on reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
β’ Lead enhancements in infrastructure, which include the implementation of security upgrades (WAF, encryption, MFA), optimizing AWS resource usage, and enhancing monitoring and observability.
β’ Construct and uphold infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools to facilitate continuous delivery.
β’ Collaborate with senior developers and other technical leaders to enhance the platform by implementing security upgrades, optimizing cloud infrastructure, developing audit systems, and refining internal data pipelines.
β’ Develop cost management strategies such as Reserved Instance optimization, budget alert systems, and cost allocation through tagging.
β’ Work in partnership with development teams to enable self-service infrastructure capabilities while ensuring security and compliance are upheld.
β’ Exhibit best practices in infrastructure-as-code, including modularity, reusability, testing, and documentation.
β’ Take proactive steps in designing and implementing solutions that yield positive results for both the team and the organization.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with AWS cloud infrastructure across various services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, etc.).
β’ Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code, with a preference for Terraform.
β’ Experience with CI/CD tools and practices related to infrastructure deployment.
β’ Practical experience with cloud security protocols, including IAM, encryption, network security, and compliance.
β’ Proficient in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar).
β’ Knowledge of cost optimization techniques and cloud financial management.
