Software Engineer, Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure that supports systems ranging from petabyte to exabyte scale.

• Oversee and enhance production Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and predictable scaling.

• Construct and refine CI/CD pipelines to facilitate quicker builds, dependable testing, and secure deployments.

• Enhance the developer experience by minimizing friction and automating workflows.

• Contribute to end-to-end testing and systems that ensure release confidence.

• Augment observability through logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting improvements.

• Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, reliability, and scaling challenges.

• Take ownership of customer-facing technical integrations—guiding deployments, troubleshooting infrastructure-level issues in client environments, and ensuring Granica operates reliably across various cloud, data, and security stacks.

• Promote operational excellence by focusing on reliability, automation, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or distributed systems engineering.

• Strong programming skills in Go, Java, Python, or equivalent languages.

• Experience with production-grade Kubernetes and strong cloud and containerization expertise across AWS, GCP, Azure, and Docker.

• Extensive experience with CI/CD systems and cloud infrastructure.

• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform.

• Capability to debug complex, cross-layer issues involving networking, storage, and runtime.

• Proven history of designing scalable, reliable, and cost-effective systems.

• Thrives in fast-paced startup settings with robust communication skills and a strong sense of ownership.
