Software Engineer III – Mobile/Web

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance features in our application utilizing Kotlin Multiplatform / Compose Multiplatform (KMP/CMP) as the core technology.

• Develop and support webview projects, engaging in web development when hypothesis testing requires such an approach.

• Seamlessly integrate REST APIs with a focus on quality, incorporating contract design, resilience, and observability from the outset.

• Ensure disciplined contributions in a shared repository (monorepo or unified structure): adhering to coding conventions, conducting code reviews, providing inline documentation, and implementing CI/CD practices.

• Create automated tests that verify the product from end-to-end, rather than just testing isolated units.

• Utilize observability tools (logs, metrics, tracing) to monitor application performance and facilitate investigations.

• Engage in the complete delivery cycle: including deployments, releases, and rollbacks.

• Actively contribute to technical refinement, influencing solution decisions from the initial phases.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product, data, backend).

• Support the technical development of junior team members; operate independently with open or loosely defined scopes—formulating hypotheses and assisting in structuring solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in mobile development (native Android, Flutter, or KMP/CMP — significant advantage if you already possess KMP/CMP experience).

• Basic understanding of web development (HTML/CSS/JS, or a framework such as React/Vue) — while not needing to be an expert, you should be capable of accomplishing tasks.

• Strong experience in API integration (REST, authentication, error handling, performance).

• Fundamental knowledge of systems architecture: comprehending how your application interacts with external systems.

• Familiarity with observability tools and a monitoring-focused culture.
