Software Engineer III – Mobile/Web

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance features in our application utilizing Kotlin Multiplatform / Compose Multiplatform (KMP/CMP) as the core technology.

• Develop and oversee webview projects, contributing to web development as needed during hypothesis-driven cycles.

• Integrate REST APIs with an emphasis on contract, resilience, and observability from the outset.

• Maintain a disciplined approach to a shared repository (monorepo or unified structure): adhering to coding conventions, conducting code reviews, providing inline documentation, and ensuring CI/CD practices.

• Create automated tests that validate the entire product from end to end, rather than just isolated components.

• Utilize observability tools (logs, metrics, tracing) to monitor application performance and facilitate investigations.

• Engage in the complete delivery cycle: including deployments, releases, and rollbacks.

• Actively partake in technical refinement, contributing to solution decisions from the initial phases.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product, data, backend).

• Support the technical development of junior team members.

• Operate within an open or loosely defined scope with autonomy, proposing hypotheses and assisting in structuring solutions.

• Proven experience in mobile development (Android native, Flutter, or KMP/CMP — KMP/CMP experience is a significant advantage).

• Basic familiarity with web development (HTML/CSS/JS, or frameworks like React/Vue) — while not required to be an expert, you should be capable of completing tasks independently.

• Strong background in API integration (REST, authentication, error handling, performance).

• Fundamental understanding of systems architecture: how your application connects to external services.

• Knowledge of observability tools and a culture focused on monitoring.
