Software Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Director of Engineering and fellow engineers to design, develop, and maintain new features.

• Generate reports, analyze data, and propose enhancements for both business and technical requirements.

• Execute tasks within stringent deadlines.

• Mentor and guide less experienced developers.

• Contribute to enhancing the platform's performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Occasionally address emergency situations during off-hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of development experience.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Expertise in at least one programming language such as C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.

• Skilled in working with either NoSQL or SQL databases.

• Proven experience in building and consuming REST or RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with cloud services like Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Demonstrated history of developing highly scalable, secure, production-grade backend services.

• Highly proficient with either CosmosDB, SQL, or PostgreSQL.

• Strong expertise in C# and/or ASP.NET Core.

• Experience in developing geolocation-based applications and services.

• Knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience with Vue.js versions 2 and 3.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Orleans.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of PostGIS.

• Background in working on a DevOps team, utilizing Git, or automating CI/CD processes.

• Experience with distributed and structured logging.

• Prior experience at a rideshare or on-demand delivery service or in developing two-sided online marketplace applications.

• Experience in leading a small team of engineers.
