This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of implementing small to medium features in the React Native application, guiding the process from design to deployment with minimal supervision.
• Develop well-tested and maintainable TypeScript code that adheres to team standards concerning quality, performance, and user experience.
• Engage in design discussions regarding team features, providing informed insights on component architecture, state management, and UI patterns.
• Detect and resolve bugs, tackle technical debt, and enhance performance and accessibility in the features you develop.
• Offer constructive and comprehensive feedback during code reviews to help teammates grow and uphold the quality of the codebase.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to clarify requirements and ensure that implementations align with design intentions and product objectives.
• Address production incidents, assist in their resolution, and contribute to documenting the lessons learned for the team.
• Document your work and share context in team discussions, facilitating easier understanding and further development of your contributions.
• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Proven track record of delivering features within a software team to achieve business results.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in TypeScript, with practical experience in building React or React Native applications.
• Strong grasp of component-based architecture, state management, and navigation patterns.
• Experience with CSS/styled-components and creating responsive mobile layouts.
• Familiarity with Jest for unit and component testing, along with exposure to Maestro or similar end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Proficient in Git-based workflows and the code review process.
• Understanding of RESTful API consumption and data fetching methodologies.
