Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• The Full-Stack Developer will collaborate closely with clients, digital leaders, solutions architects, and technical/functional leads across Guidehouse’s digital teams and market segments to assist in client projects and provide solutions for growth initiatives and capability development.

• Act as a vital member of the modernization team to tackle technical challenges/demos, creating innovative solution prototypes utilizing cloud architectures and software technologies.

• Responsible for solutions architecture and hands-on engineering/full-stack development of scalable and secure distributed systems employing modern software technologies and programming, Cloud Native and microservices architecture, containerization, and API-First design methodologies.

• Work in partnership with user experience designers, platform engineers, product owners, solution architects, and business analysts.

• The Cloud Applications Full Stack Developer will design, develop, test, and deploy high-value, operationally resilient software products on the AWS cloud platform that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be U.S. citizens or hold a Green Card.

• A bachelor's degree is required, or alternatively, a minimum of TEN (10) years of relevant experience.

• At least SIX (6) years of prior relevant experience in full-stack application development is required.

• A minimum of THREE (3) years of experience in cloud application development to build or modernize applications and datasets on the AWS cloud is essential.

• Experience and expertise in implementing frontend and backend services for cloud-native software products and solutions such as Python, JavaScript, Django, and Vue.js.

• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, mentoring and supporting team members as needed to address complex technical challenges.

• Proven capability to develop software products and solution prototypes, utilizing prototypes to validate technical solution strategies and effectively communicate the advantages and disadvantages of intricate design alternatives.

• A comprehensive understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile practices and principles, along with relevant experience.

• Must be an adept Agile practitioner with a proven track record of planning and executing software products with agility.
