• Design and implement software projects that are vital to Abnormal’s success, working alongside a team of engineers throughout the stages of conception, design, implementation, launch, and operation.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, and GTM teams to address, validate, and iterate on issues and requests from our customers.
• Enhance the standard of engineering excellence by actively sharing knowledge within the team and participating in professional development initiatives.
• Make an immediate impact by contributing to the team's efforts within the first two weeks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
• Over 3 years of industry experience in designing and developing fullstack software applications.
• Proficient in Python and/or Go.
• Intermediate knowledge of React, Redux, and JS/Typescript.
• Proven experience in building features and components from the ground up and managing their operation, ensuring a balance between feature development and operational tasks.
• Willingness to adhere to established guidelines, coding practices, and conventions.
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams, with strong skills in asynchronous and written communication.
• You are driven by growth and eager to expand your impact and responsibilities over time.
• Capable of utilizing AI Developer tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor in your daily work processes.
• Actual compensation will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
• In addition to the base salary, this role may qualify for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
