Software Engineer II, Machine Learning – Feature Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Affirm is transforming the credit landscape to make it more transparent and approachable.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a software engineer.

• You are skilled in designing, developing, and launching backend systems and are proficient in either Python or Kotlin.

• You are knowledgeable about the fundamental components of distributed systems and technologies such as AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.

• You excel at transforming simple problems or business scenarios into solutions that engage multiple software components, executing them by writing clear, comprehensible, well-tested, and extensible code.

• You are adept at navigating large codebases, debugging others' code, and providing constructive feedback to fellow engineers through code reviews.

• Your background showcases your commitment to personal growth, actively seeking feedback from your team, manager, and stakeholders.

• You possess strong verbal and written communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with our global engineering team.
