This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design and create sophisticated applications and intelligent systems.
• Perform peer reviews prior to committing changes to the code repository.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure code robustness, including edge cases, usability, and overall reliability.
• Monitor and maintain production systems, including applying hotfixes as necessary.
• Enhance application performance and address other non-functional requirements such as reliability.
• Provide technical discussions regarding the functionalities that have been implemented.
• Adhere to the coding standards established by the organization.
• Engage in the SCRUM software development process by participating in Sprint planning, reviews, standups, and retrospectives.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing well-tested, scalable, distributed, high-volume, low-latency systems.
• Familiarity with AI engineering tools such as Claude, Co-pilot, and Cursor.
• Expertise in building web applications including REST APIs, MVC, VueJs, HTML, CSS, and SCSS.
• Proficient in an object-oriented or functional programming language, preferably Ruby on Rails, Golang, or Python.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of development collaboration tools like JIRA and Git.
• Understanding of high-performance computing and low-latency development.
• Strong foundation in software development practices, including design patterns, OOP, and coding best practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, thorough testing, deployment, and application monitoring.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Postgres, AWS Redshift, and Athena.
• Ability to comprehend business stakeholder requirements and convert them into technical designs.
• Knowledge of data processing regulations, including GDPR compliance.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
