Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain innovative product features that focus on exploring new areas of the product.

• Collaborate with feature owners to gain insights and provide constructive feedback for enhancements.

• Actively engage in design and architecture discussions, sharing your ideas while creating the next generation of features for the Sezzle platform.

• Be hands-on with our codebase and contribute to code reviews.

• Mentor junior engineers who are beginning their careers.

• Work alongside the team to consistently build and deploy scalable solutions.

• Aid in project planning, estimation, and completion as required by team stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in solving technical issues as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science (mandatory).

• Knowledge of modern Frontend Development, with a preference for React experience.

• Ability to tackle problems using backend-focused languages such as Go or similar statically typed compiled languages.

• Intermediate understanding of relational databases like MySQL.

• Proficient in writing automated tests for applications (unit, integration, end-to-end).

• Familiarity with the fundamental principles and design of RESTful APIs.

• Basic understanding of Microservice Architecture.

• Strong familiarity with software engineering tools, software development methodologies, and release processes.
