Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Creating, developing, testing, and implementing highly scalable and secure software for Network Configuration and Monitoring.

• Working in collaboration with various teams at Akamai.

• Gaining insights into our distributed systems, products, and the technical stack essential for your position.

⛳️ Requirements

• Have a robust background in Python programming, including REST API and SQL.

• Possess a solid understanding of L2/L3 Computer Networks, specifically CDN and Carrier peering.

• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript and React.

• Comfortable working in a Linux environment and understanding its internals.

• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools, including Jenkins and Docker.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
