Software Engineer I, Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the team's projects and objectives with support from team members.

• Proactively collaborate with the team and stakeholders to foster visibility and discussions regarding risks and trade-offs.

• Maintain a balance between speed and quality while safeguarding systems against downtime.

• Engage in growth and development initiatives to enhance the team community.

• Take part in a mandatory on-call rotation.

• Develop platforms for international markets, emphasizing purchase protection, disputes, refunds, and agent tools.

• Work in conjunction with European engineering teams and the global Servicing Engineering division.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior work or internship experience in delivering web applications utilizing declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.

• Prior work or internship experience in designing, developing, and deploying APIs at scale using programming languages like Python or Kotlin.

• Capability to convert simple problems or business scenarios into solutions that engage multiple software components.

• Proficient in writing clear, well-tested, and extensible code.

• Comfortable navigating through a large codebase and debugging code written by others.

• Experience in providing constructive feedback through code reviews.

• Proven track record of taking ownership of personal development and actively seeking feedback.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with a global engineering team.

• Willingness to participate in a mandatory on-call rotation.

• Must be located in Spain.
