Software Engineer I, Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the team’s projects and objectives with the support of team members.

• Engage proactively with the team and stakeholders, fostering transparency and discussion regarding risks and trade-offs.

• Balance the need for speed and quality to achieve business objectives while safeguarding systems against downtime.

• Participate in team community initiatives through growth and development activities.

• Take part in the necessary on-call rotation.

• Assist in establishing essential servicing platforms for international markets, including purchase protection, disputes, refunds, and agent tools.

• Collaborate with European engineering colleagues and engineers across the global Servicing Engineering organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior work or internship experience in deploying web applications using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.

• Previous work or internship experience in designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale utilizing programming languages such as Python or Kotlin.

• Capability to transform straightforward problems or business scenarios into solutions involving multiple software components.

• Proficiency in writing clear, comprehensible, well-tested, and extensible code.

• Comfort in navigating extensive codebases and debugging code written by others.

• Experience in providing constructive feedback through code reviews.

• Proven track record of taking ownership of professional development and actively seeking feedback.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with a global engineering team.

• Willingness to engage in a required on-call rotation.
