Software Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Configure client-facing applications in accordance with requirements gathered by engagement teams while adhering to Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR) guidelines.

• Update client-facing applications as per the specifications collected by engagement teams while complying with Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR) guidelines.

• Act as a representative of the Application Operations / Development team for all ongoing projects.

• Participate in daily stand-up meetings focused on application operations / development.

• Adhere to established procedures for change management across applications when modifications are required.

• Document and maintain the standard operating procedures for application operations / development.

• Create WIKI articles for frequently repeated processes that can be shared with others.

• Collaborate with the Application Development Team to ensure successful deployment of software releases in both User Acceptance Testing and Production environments.

• Set up environments for all new implementations.

• Configure Single Sign-On integrations for client builds.

• Assist in the development of product unit tests that will be utilized for future application regression testing.

• Measure key performance indicators in application development, such as bug density, sprint analysis, and test coverage.

• Work alongside the Product Team to implement new enhancements and features for applications.

• Ensure that all application changes comply with life-cycle methodology and risk management guidelines.

• Engage with end users, internal users, development vendors, data analysts, and other members of the engagement team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technology/Engineering (Computer Science or a related field).

• 1-3 years of experience in a related field, working as an application engineer/developer/support (level 1/2).

• Strong understanding of GIT fundamentals along with daily usage experience.

• Hands-on knowledge of the following tools and technologies: SQL Server, Windows, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.

• Experience with an Agile Development Lifecycle.

• Familiarity with web application configuration and templating.

• Operational knowledge of Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, and Octopus.

• Understanding of continuous integration and deployment methodologies.

• Experience with Veeva or Salesforce is a plus.
