Software Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist a team of full-stack developers in creating tailored, data-centric web applications.

• Engage with both technical and non-technical clients and team members.

• Utilize a diverse range of technologies and programming languages, including AWS, Apache Solr, React, PostgreSQL, Java, JavaScript, and more.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

• Experience in software engineering or programming with at least one high-level language such as Java, C++, C#, or Python.

• Preference for candidates with Java experience.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, unit testing, code documentation, algorithm design, and code optimization.

• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with the React framework is desirable, but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with integrated development environments like Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA.

• Practical knowledge of the Linux operating system, including the ability to utilize a Linux command line interface and write basic Bash shell scripts.

• Basic understanding of Amazon Web Services and cloud computing concepts.

• Fundamental knowledge of agile software development methodologies.
