Software Engineer – Healthcare, EHR Integration, FHIR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute backend solutions that enhance healthcare workflows.

• Integrate third-party EHR systems to ensure effective data interchange.

• Manage both structured and semi-structured medical data.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement product features.

• Enhance system reliability, scalability, and overall performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Substantial experience in software development using Python or other contemporary programming languages.

• Practical experience in integrating healthcare data, specifically with EHR/EMR systems.

• Knowledge of interoperability standards like FHIR and/or HL7.

• Proficient in working with APIs and facilitating data exchange between systems.

• Capacity to thrive in a product-focused or client-facing setting.

• Proficient in English (B2+) with excellent communication skills.

• Ability to navigate through complex domains effectively.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with Epic, eClinicalWorks, or other prominent EHR platforms.

• Familiarity with the US healthcare sector and compliance regulations (e.g., HIPAA).

• Experience with real-time data processing or event-driven frameworks.

• A background in healthcare analytics, clinical workflows, or medical data systems is beneficial.
