Software Engineer, Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend features and APIs utilizing modern frameworks.

• Ensure optimal performance and reliability throughout our distributed systems.

• Contribute to systems that support authentication, billing, AI tooling, observability, connectors, and enhance the developer experience.

• Design and implement efficient, secure, and scalable architectures that accommodate our rapidly expanding products.

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on deployment, monitoring, and performance enhancement.

• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly documented code.

• Engage in code reviews and help establish technical standards and best practices.

• Work closely with product managers, front-end engineers, designers, and data/AI engineers to deliver comprehensive features.

• Partner with teams across AI Studio, Le Chat, and Mistral Code to ensure a consistent platform experience.

• Address complex engineering challenges, including distributed systems and AI product integration.

• Stay informed about emerging technologies (e.g., AI/LLM integration, observability, or backend frameworks) and incorporate them into production when applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Golang.

• Strong grasp of backend fundamentals, including APIs, databases, caching, messaging systems, and distributed architectures.

• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and bare-metal setups.

• Familiarity with infrastructure management tools (Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, etc.).

• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Ownership mindset capable of delivering end-to-end features with minimal oversight.
