Software Engineer, Full-Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy features from start to finish utilizing a TypeScript/React frontend alongside a TypeScript/Python backend.

• Take ownership and enhance integrations and backend services (LoanPro, HubSpot, internal APIs), being the accountable lead for at least one as you progress.

• Implement tests, monitoring, and instrumentation to improve reliability and identify issues before they reach customers.

• Investigate and address production issues, working to reduce recurring errors over time.

• Engage in code reviews, design discussions, and planning, while proactively communicating in a Slack-first team environment.

• Leverage AI coding tools and automation to increase efficiency and minimize manual, repetitive tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of delivering production software.

• Strong full-stack capabilities with a focus on backend development, proficient in TypeScript/React and Python.

• Proven experience managing services, APIs, or integrations from inception to completion.

• A disciplined approach to testing, monitoring, and ensuring reliability.

• Experience in an early-stage startup (seed/Series A–B) is highly desirable.

• Hands-on experience with LLMs or AI tools is a significant advantage.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities may shift and processes are in flux.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a remote or distributed work setting is preferred.

• Self-motivated, responsible, and proactive — excels in situations where the playbook is still being established.
