Senior Software Engineer – Full-stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain systems throughout the entire stack, including frontend interfaces, APIs, backend services, databases, and infrastructure.

• Rotate among teams as priorities change, leveraging your expertise where it is most impactful, and quickly adapting to new areas.

• Enhance and optimize fundamental systems such as data models, authentication processes, API layers, and client-side architecture.

• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and security challenges in production environments.

• Collaborate on architectural decisions and long-term strategies encompassing platform, infrastructure, and product dimensions.

• Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, observability, and auditing mechanisms across systems.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to expedite implementation, testing, and code quality, while helping to establish effective team norms for their usage.

• Balance the pursuit of long-term engineering excellence with the need for pragmatic and swift delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software engineering.

• Equivalent hands-on experience is considered as valuable as a formal degree.

• Proficient across the entire stack, comfortable working in frontend, backend, and infrastructure as needed.

• In-depth understanding of distributed systems, API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC), and data modeling.

• Practical experience with containerization and cloud infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure).

• Ability to operate within a dynamic squad model, capable of switching contexts, quickly ramping up on new domains, and contributing effectively without extended onboarding.

• Active engagement with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to enhance development efficiency. We expect engineers to view AI as a force multiplier, not a secondary consideration.

• Strong communication skills with the capability to clearly explain technical trade-offs.

• Proven track record of ownership and successfully delivering complex projects in a fast-paced setting.
