Senior Software Engineer – Topography

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Developing a system that collects topology-related data from various sources.

• Utilizing the gathered data to consolidate and standardize it for use in provisioning systems and workload schedulers.

• Playing a key role in a significant open-source initiative, Topograph.

• Engaging with cutting-edge hardware to ensure that new product launches feature optimal scheduling capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Strong production engineering expertise in Go or another systems programming language.

• Familiarity with distributed systems, Kubernetes, Slurm/Slinky, Linux, containers, APIs, and continuous integration.

• Capability to design clear interfaces between discovery logic, data models, and scheduler outputs.

• Knowledge of networking, cluster topology, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale computing systems.

• Strong habits in testing, debugging, documentation, and code review.
