Full-stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance products, features, and functionalities that effectively address real customer challenges.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to identify and validate customer requirements and technical solutions.

• Rapidly prototype as necessary to mitigate project risks, test assumptions, and refine ideas into production-ready outcomes.

• Deliver incremental value consistently by anticipating dependencies, segmenting tasks, and regularly showcasing progress.

• Articulate technical trade-offs, clearly present system design proposals, and document architectural decisions.

• Utilize modern software engineering methodologies to create robust, maintainable, and scalable systems.

• Elevate team members through code reviews, collaborative coding sessions, and effective teamwork.

• Assume responsibility for your code and product area, participating in retrospectives and continuously enhancing team processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of pertinent software engineering experience.

• Experience in developing real-time data processing systems.

• Proficient in utilizing modern AI tools to expedite development and enhance quality.

• Full-stack expertise: proficient in at least one of Java, Python, or Node/JavaScript; comfortable creating modern frontends (Vue.js is a plus); eager to expand knowledge across the stack.

• Skilled in building and consuming APIs; adept with SQL and non-relational databases, including informed schema and data modeling decisions.

• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and services (AWS preferred).

• Possesses a strong product mindset: pragmatically employs technology to address significant customer issues.

• A continuous learner who embraces emerging technologies and fosters growth in others.

• A collaborative team player who contributes wherever necessary to achieve team objectives.
