Software Engineer, Frontend – HMI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Create and develop clear, concise interfaces that present live data, numerous assets, and control panels in an organized manner.

• Render and refresh maps in real-time featuring a large volume of objects across map tiles.

• Integrate the interface with live backend data using WebSockets and product APIs.

• Generate synthetic data and create demonstrations of interface panels when live data is unavailable.

• Assist in the integration and testing of the interface with live systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in frontend engineering utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript with a modern framework (React, Vue, or Svelte).

• Experience in developing real-time, data-heavy interfaces that maintain responsiveness under substantial load.

• Background in designing information-rich professional tools.

• Experience in integrating with backend APIs and live data streams via WebSockets.

• A portfolio showcasing interactive, functional interfaces.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Preferred: Familiarity with mapping and geospatial rendering technologies (MapLibre, Mapbox, Cesium, or deck.gl) and WebGL.

• Preferred: Experience in video and still capture along with basic editing for demonstration purposes.
