Software Engineer – Enterprise Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the long-term upkeep, scalability, and dependability of our self-hosted n8n enterprise automation engine.

• Create custom node code and build advanced webhooks to enhance platform functionalities well beyond standard configurations.

• Design resilient, asynchronous, and non-blocking workflows that can efficiently throttle or queue API payloads during high operational demands.

• Manage production-grade infrastructure and work closely with core platform infrastructure teams to identify and resolve intricate system bottlenecks.

• Serve as a liaison between technical implementation and overarching operational strategy, effectively communicating with both business stakeholders and engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional software engineering experience at a senior level in high-scale, high-visibility environments.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript (the primary technology stack for this position), along with solid skills in Python.

• Demonstrated experience in developing modern applications with a strong focus on backend system integration, solid API design, and a functional comprehension of frontend components.

• Strong knowledge of data structures, distributed systems architecture, and secure API management.

• Practical experience in engineering asynchronous workflows, rate-limiting, and managing payload queues during periods of high concurrency.

• Excellent capabilities in daily technical communication, aligning with stakeholders, and maintaining documentation.
