This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design, develop, and manage systems that convert large volumes of identity data from third-party integrations to product users with accuracy, timeliness, and operational excellence.
β’ Create the shared foundations and interfaces (APIs, services, materialized models) that transform raw identity data into the essential components that drive our products.
β’ Contribute to the technical vision for a premier data infrastructure that empowers engineering, product, and AI teams, facilitating seamless access to high-quality data.
β’ Set up SLOs, monitoring, and operational tools to detect and address failures in identity data systems before they impact customers.
β’ Advocate for and apply best practices in software engineering to develop scalable, reliable, and secure data-centric applications. Promote software engineering principles within the data domain.
β’ 3-7 years of experience as a backend or platform engineer building production data systems relied upon by other teams, including ingestion and synchronization pipelines (Dagster, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools) or service layers interfacing with a transactional database (MySQL/Postgres) that abstracts storage for internal users.
β’ Proficient backend development skills in **Python**, **Go**, or **TypeScript**, emphasizing **clean API design**, **testability**, and **observability**.
β’ Strong intuition for data accuracy, observability, and SLOs in systems where downstream products rely on the output.
β’ Experience in designing service or API interfaces over a transactional datastore (MySQL/Postgres) that define contracts enabling independent evolution for producers and consumers.
β’ Familiarity with identity and access governance (IGA) data (e.g., identities, accounts, entitlements, group memberships) and understanding how its accuracy, timeliness, and traceability influence downstream governance outcomes at scale.
