Software Engineer, Data Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee versioned data pipelines for the ingestion and integration of intricate retail data.

• Associate computer vision detections with master product catalogs.

• Ensure that outputs for consumer-facing dashboards uphold exceptional standards of accuracy and reliability.

• Apply rules-based normalization and RegEx logic for specific tasks.

• Incorporate LLMs to facilitate complex data matching and entity resolution.

• Design cost-effective and high-performance AI integrations suitable for retail scale.

• Oversee the evolution of data schemas and pipeline logic without disrupting downstream consumer insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in constructing reliable, staged pipelines for complex ingestion processes.

• Proficient in consolidating diverse and unstructured data sources into a cohesive "Golden Record."

• Familiarity with LLMs and prompt engineering methodologies.

• Understanding of when to utilize regex or bounded heuristics as alternatives to LLMs.

• Experience with versioning both code and data schemas.

• Background in retail, logistics, or supply chain is advantageous.

• Familiarity with GIS, LIDAR, or Computer Vision metadata is a plus.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
