Software Engineer – Compute Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Programmatically design, construct, and maintain compute infrastructure (AWS Kubernetes/EKS, AWS ECS, Lambda, and EC2) that supports Artera's AI products at scale.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to articulate and enhance the platform's architecture, ensuring it meets standards for scalability, observability, reliability, and performance.

• Develop core infrastructure, tools, and software development methodologies.

• Partner with machine learning engineers to streamline training and inference workflows, focusing on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Engage in a variety of platform engineering initiatives, ranging from ad-hoc solutions to comprehensive systems.

• Assist in the development of cloud infrastructure security tools and services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing containerized infrastructure at scale with a strong emphasis on security.

• At least 3 years of experience in building services and tools using Python, adopting a software engineering approach.

• Over 2 years of experience in developing infrastructure automation solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK).

• Proficiency with AWS storage services such as S3, EFS, and FSx.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven integrity and a strong commitment to appropriate data governance when handling sensitive, confidential information.
