Software Engineer, Cloud EOS Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop software solutions for cloud-based WAN connectivity

• Create and implement control planes, software data planes, and management platforms/APIs/services

• Engage with highly automated networks that facilitate and secure connections among global sites

• Contribute to product development utilizing EOS, multithreading, multicore software forwarding, public cloud infrastructure, path selection, NFV, containers, network segmentation, virtualization, microservices, CI/CD, and Terraform

• Take part in the software development process, from gathering requirements to delivering fully functional features

• Troubleshoot software issues, particularly in embedded systems

• Collaborate as an essential member of the CloudEOS team

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering

• Over 3 years of experience as a Systems Software Development Engineer

• Expertise in C/C++ programming languages

• Experience in software development on Linux platforms

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting

• Familiarity with DPDK, software forwarding, and DPI-based application recognition

• Knowledge of QoS and secure communication protocols using IPSec

• Proficiency in Python and/or Golang development

• Comprehensive experience throughout the software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to feature delivery

• Strong debugging skills in software, particularly in embedded systems

• Background in network systems software development is advantageous
