Software Engineer – Backend, Django

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Create high-quality software designs and architectures.

• Design and implement effective APIs for the front-end development team.

• Produce clean, functional, and scalable backend code for web applications.

• Manage and implement databases and applications.

• Combine front-end elements with server-side logic.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure alignment between server-side and client-side components.

• Enhance applications for performance, scalability, and security.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

• Work alongside QA engineers to establish testing strategies and test plans.

• Write and run testing scripts.

• Conduct regular updates to enhance system functionality.

• Develop new features.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Backend Developer or in a comparable position.

• Proficient in Python, particularly with Django and the Django Rest Framework.

• Experience with database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.

• Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Basic understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to thrive in a team-oriented setting.

• Effective communication skills for collaboration with other teams.

• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
