Software Engineer – Backend, Django

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Create high-quality software designs and architectures.

• Develop and implement efficient APIs for the front-end team.

• Write clean, functional, and scalable back-end code for web applications.

• Manage and implement databases and applications.

• Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure alignment between server-side and client-side components.

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

• Identify and resolve technical issues.

• Work with QA engineers to create testing strategies and test plans.

• Write and execute testing scripts.

• Conduct regular updates to enhance system functionality.

• Develop new features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a Backend Developer role or similar position.

• Proficient in Python, particularly with Django and Django Rest Framework.

• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.

• Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Basic knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).

• Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.

• Capability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

• Good communication skills for effective coordination with other teams.

• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
