This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and deploy tools that enhance the speed and cost-effectiveness of customer implementation.
• Engage in tight iteration cycles with the Product Manager, transforming loosely defined problems from concept to delivered software.
• Propel quality, reliability, and scalability enhancements throughout the infrastructure.
• Manage features comprehensively, from technical design to deployment and monitoring.
• Maintain and advance software engineering standards, which include code quality, testing, CI/CD, and security protocols.
• Collaborate with various teams across VibeIQ to enhance the product, architecture, and engineering methodologies.
• Work alongside product managers, core platform engineers, and both internal and external stakeholders to refine the implementation experience.
• Contribute to platform ownership, focusing on multi-tenant event orchestration and robust, scalable data ingestion.
• Approximately 4+ years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering.
• Preferably experienced in cloud-based environments such as AWS.
• Familiar with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Capable of designing scalable, maintainable backend systems, ideally with Node.js or TypeScript.
• Strong problem-solving abilities in distributed systems.
• Proficient in researching issues, evaluating methods, and crafting complex solutions.
• Proven track record of quickly adapting to unfamiliar technical areas.
• Exceptional written communication and collaboration skills among engineering, product, and external stakeholders.
• Utilization of agentic coding tools as a fundamental aspect of software development and deployment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Bonus: experience in developing products integrated with AI agents, including MCP servers and agent-driven workflows.
• Bonus: experience in creating developer tools like internal platforms, CLIs, SDKs, or extension systems.
• Bonus: familiarity with event-driven architectures, including DynamoDB streams and SQS/Lambda patterns.
• Bonus: experience with observability tools and practices, including OpenTelemetry.
