Software Engineer, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain backend services and shared libraries that are relied upon by other teams on a daily basis.

• Take full ownership of your work — from gathering requirements to implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure the platform's reliability.

• Produce clean, well-tested code and participate in team code reviews.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and elevate the quality of your work.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant combination of education, experience, and training.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming and data structures.

• Practical experience with C# and .NET.

• Proficiency in using AI tools effectively in your daily tasks.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows in shared repositories.

• Experience in writing unit tests and contributing to quality-focused development.

• A strong enthusiasm for creating exceptional software and continuous improvement.

• Nice to have - Exposure to cloud platforms or Kubernetes.
