This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Design and develop backend microservices for the squad’s modules, such as Identity/RBAC/MFA, number search, purchase and porting, onboarding automation, CDR, and billing pipelines.
• Integrate with external carriers, telecom, and third-party APIs, including Operator Connect, number/porting providers, ServiceNow, and payment and billing systems.
• Implement event-driven flows and long-running workflows using tools like Kafka and Temporal.
• Create automated tests, engage in code reviews, and adhere to CI/CD practices.
• Work closely with Business Analysts to refine requirements and establish acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Frontend Engineers to define and uphold API contracts.
• Over 5 years of backend development experience utilizing Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture and API design, including REST and GraphQL.
• Solid experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, along with schema and data modeling.
• Proven ability to integrate third-party and external APIs effectively.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven systems, specifically Kafka.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal.io.
• Proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services.
• English proficiency at a B2 level or above.
• Nice to have: AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer), Node.js-related certifications, and experience with VoIP/telecom systems (SIP, signaling, voice infrastructure).
