• Develop new functionalities and enhance existing systems, with a focus on quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Possess expertise in software architecture and the ability to propose structural improvements to the system.
• Implement integrations between internal and external services (APIs, microservices, distributed systems).
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code, adhering to engineering best practices and defined standards.
• Create and execute automated and unit tests to ensure quality in deliverables.
• Collaborate with product, QA, front-end, and data teams, ensuring end-to-end delivery.
• Actively participate in code reviews, contributing to collective learning and maintaining technical standards.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Document workflows, architectures, and adopted practices, enhancing knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate in agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, retrospectives), bringing a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Strong experience in back-end development using Java.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience handling large volumes of data and complex/heavy queries.
• Knowledge of modular service architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with automated testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with AI tools for code generation (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, Cursor, among others).
• Previous experience in digital product teams and agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience in healthtechs or companies with high technical complexity.
• Familiarity with AWS (EC2, RDS, SQS, Beanstalk).
• Prior experience developing solutions using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex, etc).
• Experience in observability, monitoring, and best practices in SRE.
• Previous involvement in scalable environments with high data volumes.
